Introduction to Throwing Private Workshop for 2, 3 or 4 people

Share a pottery experience with a friend or loved one! I will start with a quick demonstration to learn the basics of throwing, then you will take to the wheel. With step-by-step guidance, you’ll each have the chance to craft your own unique creations.

Groups of 2

This 2.5 hour session allows plenty of time for both of you to explore your creativity. Afterward, select your favourite piece each to be fired and glazed, ready for collection in 6-8 weeks. Note, additional pieces can be fired and glazed for you for £10 per piece, which can be paid for on the day. 

Groups of 3

If you would like to come as a group of 3, you will take turns on the 2 wheels, and the session will be 3 hours instead to make sure everyone gets enough time on the wheel. One piece per person will then be glazed and fired ready for collection 6-8 weeks later. 

Groups of 4

If you would like to come as a group of 4, you will take turns on the 2 wheels, and the session will be 3 hours instead to make sure everyone gets enough time on the wheel. And when not throwing, I will set up a simple handbuilding activity, so you can make a small pot or animal when not throwing too!
